What the Hell?

KOLR, the Nexstar station in Springfield, Missouri is having their female news talent jump in an RV and travel around the viewing area to meet folks in small towns.

The station is calling it “Girlfriend Gateway” because let’s be honest “Girlfriend Pillow Fight” would have sounded way to sexist.

Watch as the male Anchor thinks the “girls” are sleeping in and not ready to work.

I want to know who at the station thought this was a good idea?

Nothing like marginalizing your female talent as “girlfriends” on a trip around the viewing area.
