Signing off in Indy

WXIN/WTTV (Indianapolis) Sports Anchor/Reporter Larra Overton is leaving the station but not the city.

Overton is headed to the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts as the team's new producer and on-air talent.

"I am thrilled and grateful for this opportunity with the Colts organization and to contribute to the content and production team," Overton said. "It’s an exciting dynamic of game day coverage and multifaceted storytelling across the Colts media platforms."

She joined the station 5 years ago and will now serve as a sideline reporter for preseason games and will assume a radio broadcast role during the regular season.

"I have built strong relationships in this newsroom and will certainly miss working daily with these talented journalists," Overton said. "I am fortunate that this opportunity will keep me close by and allow me to still see many of those I have worked alongside."
