Former CBS Evening News Anchor Jeff Glor has handled his demotion with complete class.

Glor is being replaced by Norah O’Donell at CBS News this Fall.

Right now, O’Donnell is bumping her way around the country to CBS affiliates, shaking hands and shooting promos.

On Friday, O’Donnell and CBS News Chief Susan Zirinsky stopped in at Tegna’s WUSA to press the flesh and bang out some promos.

As for Glor, he has moved on.

“I think the way you handle any difficult situation is a product of how you are raised and where you were raised and how you grew up,” Glor said in an interview with the Buffalo News. “There's no road map for a lot of these situations and I think you follow your instincts and you lean on the people who mean the most to you. ... The people who are there for you 20 years ago were the ones who are going to be there for you 20 years from now.”

Glor doesn’t want anyone feeling sorry for him and he is upbeat about his next chapter at CBS.

“I know how lucky I am, and I try to remember that every single day,” Glor said.

I have said before that Jeff Glor and I both attended Kenmore East High School and as a Ken-East Bulldog you are taught to roll with the punches and make the best out of any situation that you can.

Jeff Glor has shown that he is all class and he has done us Bulldogs proud.
