Sources tell FTVLive that WTTG management held a staff meeting recently and as our source says, “we were dressed down over our ratings.”

It seems that the Fox O&O did not exactly have a great May book and management was letting the staff know about it.

As the meeting wrapped up, News Director Paul McGonagle told them not to mention this meeting to any media outlets.

At least one staffer was sure he was referring to FTVLive.

Oops…sorry Paul.

While that was going down, WTTG was putting the final touches on their promo for the new 4PM newscast that will launch in July.

The promo says that “beginning on July 8, 4 will get owned by Fox 5.”

Insiders say that the 4 that the station is referring to, is not 4PM, but it is WRC 4, the NBC O&O in DC.

Pretty cocky for a station that just shit the bed in May.
