Yesterday, we told you how a number of viewers sent hate mail to FTVLive, because they thought I was responsible for getting WLEX Anchor Lee Cruse fired (Hint: Cruse was responsible for that).

Viewers lashed out at FTVLive.

But, we also got some more positive email. Like this from a neighbor to the Lexington market:

“Dear Scott,

I just wanted to send you a quick note about the great work you do and I love your site. I live 150 miles north of Lexington and there's no question why Kentucky was polled as the most miserable state in the country. I wouldn't let those racist rednecks down there get under my skin, Cruse should have been fired…

…keep up the good work and there are thousands and thousands of us that love your site and are on your side. have a Great week and keep us informed and never bow down to the Idiots..

Curtis
Richmond, Indiana”

Also, an TV Anchor emailed talking about proof reading your scripts before you go on air. In Cruse’s excuses for saying what he did, he blamed it on the fact that he never reads his scripts before going on air.

The Anchor had this to say in an email:

“In almost 50 years of news anchoring, very seldom did I go on the air without reading the scripts first.

I missed a few, but not a lot. That's because one of my news bosses told me once:

"The anchor who does not read over scripts gives it away, with the very next thing that comes out of their mouth."

He was right.”
