Kill The Journalist

A sniper video game is catching flack for a level that asked the player to kill the Journalist.

The game is call “Sniper 3D Assassin.” and the goal is to go on missions and kill people. One such mission is called “Breaking News” and your goal is to kill the journalist.

Michael Mac-Vicar, the CTO of the developing company, said in a statement to HuffPost that the level was removed after this story was published.

“Our game Sniper 3D Assassin is fictional and is intended for mature audiences,” Mac-Vicar said. “At TFG, we work to create games that bring fun and entertainment to users all around the world. As such, we take feedback from our players very seriously. After listening to our community today, we have decided to remove the mission ‘Breaking News’ from the game.”

This level of the game was added after President Donald Trump started referring to the media as the enemy of the people.

He tweeted this out again yesterday:

Of course, the game’s mission is not realistic in the point that no Journalist can afford “bribe money” and there is no way their company is going to pay for that.

Hell, they’re like if the company pays for their tolls.
