What The Hell Man?!

WLEX (Lexington) does what is sort of like a version of Regis and Kathie Lee, you know, if Regis was a racist.

The show features hosts Lee Cruse and Hayley Harmon.

They were talking about the BBC DJ that was fired for posting a racist picture depicting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with a chimpanzee.

Cruse declared that the DJ was now his “favorite.”

Harmon. tried to help Cruse put the toothpaste back in the tube, but it was a bit late for that.

A number of viewers chimed in on social media and they were not happy.

So far, it doesn’t seem like Scripps, the owner of WLEX has addressed the issue.

In his Twitter bio, Cruse describes himself as a “stand-up comic, television host.”

No word why media companies such as Scripps and Tegna think that hiring comics to host news programs is a good idea, but here is an example of why it’s not. And this is another example.

Let’s hope Scripps wises up and does the right thing in this case.
