Yesterday, FTVLive told you that Sinclair was looking to hire a new Anchor in Fresno, but that they would be anchoring the news for Omaha.

Yesterday, viewers in Omaha will be watching their news from an Anchor that is sitting 16 miles away.

When we posted the story yesterday, we thought that this was a new hire and it was Sinclair setting up another hub as they continue their cost cutting.

But, a number of you emailed FTVLive and said that Sinclair has been producing Omaha’s newscasts from Fresno for quite sometime. So, while the Anchor job posted is new, the hubbing of Omaha’s news is not.

In fact we wrote about this back in 2016.

Guess we should have done a search of our own website before posting yesterday’s story.
