Oh My God!!!!

a guy stopped by a garage sale in Tampa this past weekend and found a very old friend of FTVLive.

At the Florida garage sale was an old TK-76 camera that I used to once shoot on when I worked at KTUL in Tulsa.

When I left KTUL, I was shooting on a Betacam, but when I first got there, this was my camera.

For you kids out there, this was just the camera, you still needed a record deck to shoot the story. When you were loaded up with the camera, deck, batteries (you wore around your waist) and lights, it checked in well over 100 pounds.

It’s a long way from what people shoot on today, but seeing this photo brings back memories.

This is my old camera and I would LOVE to have it! But, $1,200 bucks for what is essentially a big paper weight is a bit too steep for me.

But hey, this picture was a great trip down memory lane.

So awesome!
