Kelly Rippin is headed to Cincy.

I said, Kelly Rippin, not Kelly Ripa.

WESH (Orlando) Anchor/Reporter Kelly Rippin is leaving the station, but she’s staying in the Hearst family. Rippin is headed to WLWT in the Natty as a main Anchor.

Here is the internal email that was sent to the WESH staff from News Director Kirsten Wolff and obtained by FTVLive:

Kelly Rippin is headed home. She’s accepted a position at WLWT, the Hearst station in Cincinnati. In addition to getting back closer to home, Kelly is also fulfilling her dream of being a fulltime anchor. At WLWT she will co-anchor the weekday morning newscast.

During her time at WESH 2, Kelly has distinguished herself by doing, well, just about everything. She’s been a hard-charging reporter, able to do standout stories on everything from features to breaking news. She filled in as traffic anchor for the month of February. She’s anchored sports and she’s anchored newscasts. And she’s been a social media star through it all.

Kelly’s ability to handle any assignment with ease, as well as her easy going nature, also make Kelly a newsroom favorite.

WLWT is going to get her on air quickly, so her last day at WESH 2 is May 31st.

Kelly, we will miss you. Best of luck!

She signs off from WESH at the end of the month.

Oh… and sorry guys, she also just got engaged two weeks ago.
