Two years ago, FTVLive told you that zanny Houston Reporter Ruben Galvan was leaving KPRC.
At the time he wrote on social media:
"To all of my friends, family, colleagues, and VIEWERS... I have decided to move back to California after an amazing ride here at KPRC2 ... I have chosen to pursue the next chapter of my life and take a short break."
But after spending a couple of years at Scientist.com, where he was a reporter in the biotechnology world, he’s returning to Houston.
This time Galvan is headed to Tegna’s KHOU.
"I had the best experience and built some great, long-lasting friendships," Galvan said. "It's like a homecoming for me."
Galvan said he could not be more thrilled to back in the same town as his family. "I have a huge family in Houston. I also have friends from school here," he said. "I am blessed to be back."
Galvan said his schedule at KHOU has yet to be unconfirmed, he will primarily report during weekday morning show "H-Town Rush" from 4:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
