No More 60 Minutes for Oprah

The Hollywood Reporter has placed Oprah on their next cover and she makes a bit of news on the inside of the magazine as well.

Winfrey says that she is no longer working for CBS’s 60 Minutes and she then gave one of the reasons for that?

"I've removed myself from that (60 Minutes)," she said. "It was not the best format for me... How should I say this? Never a good thing when I have to practice saying my name and have to be told that I have too much emotion in my name, I think I did seven takes on just my name because it was “too emotional.” I go, 'Is the too much emotion in the Oprah part or the Winfrey part?' I was working on pulling myself down and flattening out my personality, which, for me, is actually not such a good thing."

CBS has not commented on Oprah and her leaving the news magazine.
