No, This Should Not Happen

David Cohen is the Senior Executive Vice President and the Chief Diversity Officer of Comcast.

As you know Comcat owns NBC and MSNBC.

So, you would think that Cohen would know to keep is toe out of the political waters.

Nope, he dove in head first by hosting a fundraiser for Joe Biden on the day he announced he was running for President.

The idea that Chen did this and the idea that Comcast let it happen, just shows how this company has no integrity.

It also shows that if you work in TV news, it is imperative that you stay impartial. You may love a candidate and think that they are great. You should not contribute to their campaign or show your support for them in any way.

You chose to be a Journalist, you need to act like one.

As for Comcast? Shame on them for letting this happen and letting Cohen cast a dark cloud over both NBC and MSNBC with his actions.

If Comcast wanted to do the right thing, they should cut ties with Cohen ASAP.

I won’t hold my breath.
