Mello Out?

Looking at the job listings, it appears that WICU/WSEE (Erie,PA) News Director Tim Mello (pictured) is leaving the News Director chair.

A check of Mello’s Twitter account does not give us any clues, since his last tweet was in September of 2018.

But, owner Lilly has placed an a job ad for the station’s ND gig.

The ad says that, “Erie News Now produces news on NBC and CBS affiliates in Erie, multiple digital and OTT platforms and for One Caribbean Television and Lilly’s ABC and CBS affiliates in the U.S. Virgin Islands.”

If I can set up my office in the Virgin Islands, put my name in the hat for the job. If I have to stay in Erie… then never mind.
