Out the Door in Sacramento

After 5 years at the Tribune (soon to be Nexstar) station, Weekend Anchor Ali Wolf has signed off from the station.

She posted the news to her social media, but did not tip her hand as to what she is going to do next?

Wolf’s departure will mark the latest in shake-ups for Sacramento TV news on-air talent, with a significant amount of anchors and reporters having left the market or switched stations within the market over the past year or so.

Some longtime fixtures of Sacramento’s TV news scene, including Cristina Mendonsa and Bethany Crouch, having changed mediums.

Mendonsa now co-hosts a morning radio show with Sam Shane on NewsRadio KFBK. And after 15 years in TV news, including nine years with Fox 40 and a recent tenure with CBS13 that ended last October when her “dream job” was eliminated, Bethany Crouch chose to start a podcast.
