Yesterday, on April Fools day, the New York Post reported that CNN boss Jeff Zucker wants to run for the Mayor of New York City in 2021.

That has to be a joke right.

The Post writes that the rumor flying around the TV industry is that CNN chief Jeff Zucker is eyeing a run for mayor of New York City. Industry sources said they’d heard that Zucker, who has long held political aspirations, is exploring a run for NYC mayor in 2021.

Jeff Zucker could not beat a ham sandwich in a run for office.

It has to be a joke.

Right?

Then again, maybe he will take his mini-me Brian Stelter with him as his vice-mayor.
