Fox News Channel’s The Five did their show live from Nashville and newly retired NBC Today Show Anchor Kathie Lee Gifford stopped by the show.

She updated viewers as to what has been happening since her sign off:

On what life has been like since leaving TODAY:

“I’d given my notice two years before because I knew it was time. You know you run out of tick tock in life and there are things I wanted to do and been dying to do and you just need to make time for certain things. And I’ve been so blessed to be there for 11 years and make the friendships that I had, but it was time.”

On why she never visited FOX News:

“Oh, like NBC would let me go over to FOX, come on. Now I’m free, I can go anywhere. I’m going to do some porn. Why not?”

On the culture in Nashville:

“I want to hang out with people that love god, love my wine, love music, love our country.”
