Out The Door In Greenville
/Reporter Tim Waller has been working for WYFF (Greenville) for 25 years and he’s ready to try something else.
Waller says he is signing off this week and instead of working for someone else, he is going to work for himself.
He plans to start a media relations company.
In the Facebook post, Waller said it wasn't an easy decision, but he's looking to do something new after a quarter-century as a reporter.
"Until a few years ago, I believed I would stay here until retirement age—provided I could keep up the energy," Waller posted. "But it turns out I can’t. Being a field reporter these days requires a level of energy I simply don’t have. Plus, after doing this for the better part of a lifetime, I feel I’ve done it all and seen it all. It’s time to try something else."
Waller had previously worked as an anchor in Tri-Cities, Tennessee, and as a reporter and anchor in Charleston, West Virginia.
