Back to Huntsville
/Shevaun Bryan is making a return to WHNT and this time it’s for an anchor gig. The station announced that Bryan will be sharing the anchor desk with Greg Screws.
After working at the station for 4 years, Bryan took a job at KFOR in Oklahoma City. That gig only lasted a year, before she decided to return to Alabama.
“I called the valley home for years and couldn’t miss the opportunity to return to a community I deeply care about,” she said.
She replaces longtime Anchor Clarissa McClain.
“I’ve got some big shoes to fill following such amazing talent,” Bryan said. “I’ve had the privilege to work with Clarissa and the incredible journalists at WHNT. Clarissa remains a mentor for me as I take on this endeavor. Returning to my WHNT family was a no-brainer.”
She starts her new gig on April 8th.
