Little Late to the Party

WTTG GM Patrick Paolini sent out a tweet that his station is adding a 4PM newscast to their lineup.

First, why can’t you just say you are adding a 4PM and not take shots at the rest of the industry?

Why?

Because you just need to glance at Paolini’s Twitter timeline and you can see that this guy posts negative tweets all day long.

Always nice to see the GM of a TV station, attack “the media” on Twitter and show his political leanings.

As for adding a 4PM newscast?

Ummmm… hundreds of stations have already done that and many did so years ago. The idea that in 2019, your station is finally getting around to it, seems a bit odd to be bragging about it.

But maybe they needed to find a place for this person.

No wonder why Paolini was No. 2 on our list.
