Controversy = Ratings

Media Matters and others on the left have been taking Fox News host Tucker Carlson to task for comments that he made years ago.

Media Matters and CNN media critic Brian Stelter have been encouraging viewers and companies to boycott Carlson, pull their ads and don’t watch.

So what has happened?

Carlson is enjoying some of his best ratings ever, averaging 3 million total viewers last week.

It shows that controversy = ratings and it has been like that for as long as I can remember.
