Leaving the Rock...

KTHV (Little Rock) Anchor Denise Middleton has decided to leave the Tegna to “pursue other opportunities.”

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with the best journalists in Arkansas. It has truly been a memorable experience, so the only way I can describe leaving THV11 is ‘bittersweet.’ I will especially cherish the time spent with my co-anchors, who have been some of the kindest, funniest, people I’ve ever come across. To our viewers: it’s been an honor and a privilege to have gained your trust and support over the past five years. Thank you for welcoming me into your homes and allowing me to share your stories.”

Middleton has not finalized her next move just yet, so she is not saying where she is headed.

Her final night on KTHV is Friday, March 15.
