The Last of a Dying Breed
/KWTV in Oklahoma City is one of the last locally own TV station in the country.
There used to be many locally, family owned TV stations all over the country, but thanks to relaxed ownership rules and industry consolidation, the “locally owned” station is a dying breed.
KWTV put out a new promo touting the fact that they were locally owned and taking a shot at the big companies like Sinclair and Nexstar.
