Sinclair reported their 4th quarter revenue and thanks to the political ad dollars the company had a huge quarter.

Sinclair says that they brought in $893.3 million for the quarter, which is up from the $712.5 million they brought in from a year ago.

Sinclair CEO Chris Ripley says that 2019 is also shaping up to be a big year. “Building on a base of $255 million in political ad spending for 2018 and a number of candidates already declaring their candidacy for the presidency, we expect 2020’s political advertising to be yet another record year for us, with some of the ad spending expected as early as the fourth quarter of this year,” he said.

In other words, when it’s time for a raise, don’t let your boss tell you that they can only afford a 1% bump.

This company is make money hand over fist off the work you do. Maybe it’s time they share some of that money with you.

Just saying…
