3 and Out in Philly

Three years ago, NBC O&O WCAU (Philly) hired Meteorologist Tammie Souza to the station.

“Tammie’s engaging personality and passion for weather will be a great addition to the NBC10 First Alert Weather team,” said WCAU News Director Anzio Williams at the time of her hiring. He added, “Having covered many severe weather events, including blizzards, tornados, wildfires and hurricanes, her expertise will complement our weather team’s coverage in the Greater Philadelphia region.”

Here we are at the end of her three-year contract and Williams put out this very brief memo to the staff:

Souza came to Philly from WFLD in Chicago.
