KOTV teamed up with a local radio DJ to try and raise some money for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

DJ Chubbs who is one half of the Chubbs & Tara in the Morning team on 106.9 KHITS climbed the ladder to the top of KOTV studios and said he would not come down until he raised $60,000 for the charity.

Chubbs sat in the December cold and did live hits on KOTV to try and bring in the bucks.

Chubbs brought along a number of Winter hats to keep him warm (above and below). But, when he went live on KOTV the bug temperature was 64 degrees.

Not exactly frigid by any stretch.

We are happy to report that Chubbs went up on the roof on Wednesday and was able to raise the $6 grand by Thursday, when he was able to come down off the roof.

Good thing to, looking at the weather from Thursday it showed that Chubbs was standing up on the roof in an arctic 70 degrees.
