Gone in Denver

A year ago, FTVLive told you how KDVR/KWGN Executive Producer Michael Brannen loved to clog up the staff’s email inbox with useless stories.

Then after our story, he sent out another email and told the staff that, “you can tell FTVLive I said that.”

Well, the latest email in regards to Michael Brannen is not one that he sent, but it is one about him leaving the Nexstar station.

Here is the email sent to the staff and obtained by FTVLive:

Team,

I wanted to let you know that Michael Brannen is going to be leaving KDVR/KWGN. Michael has done a good job here as Executive Producer for almost three years and really stepped up and stepped in when we needed him this fall as EP of the FOX31 Morning News. That's not an easy task for someone not used to going to bed after the Daily Number - and he did a great job in his new role.

We'll miss his ideas for creative coverage and Going BIG on the BIG story. He could always be counted on to remind me that YES, Mizzou, in fact, DOES have a football team, and yes, they did beat UT at least once. 😊

As for what's next - Michael will let you know when the time is right. We wish him great success in whatever his next challenge will be.
