Fox Business reporter Lawrence Crook was covering a story in Manhattan Federal Court when he was allegedly caught with a crack pipe in his sock.

The Daily Mail reports that Crook was reporting on an ongoing trial concerning a proposed merger between the phone carriers T-Mobile and Sprint on December 9 when a security guard at the courthouse spotted something in his sock, according to the New York Post, which first reported on the case, citing authorities and unnamed sources familiar with the incident.

A closer inspection was said to have uncovered a glass crack pipe tucked into the reporter's hosiery.

To be honest, when dealing with phone carriers, I often wish I was smoking crack.
