On Friday, FTVLive told you to look for the first domino to fall at the top of NBC.

FTVLive wrote, that there were rumors both inside and outside 30 Rock that NBC CEO Steve Burke is expected to step down in 2020.

Well, NBCUniversal just announced that Steve Burke won’t even be making it into 2020 and will step down at the end of the year.

Jeff Shell will take over Burke’s job and run media and entertainment conglomerate, Comcast announced today.

The question now is, what about the future of NBC News bosses Andy Lack and Noah Oppenheim?

Many inside NBC News think those changes need to be made as well.

Time will tell if it happens.
