BREAKING: Bye-Bye Boris

Sinclair has decided to cut ties with $350,000 a year Donald Trump cheerleader Boris Epshteyn.

Sinclair had forced stations to run Epshteyn’s awful commentaries that the local stations hated and the viewers basically ignored.

Epshteyn’s role as Sinclair’s Chief Political Analyst, which was really nothing more than two minutes of him sucking up to Trump, would take time out of the newscasts at Sinclair’s 190+ stations.

“We have to shine a light on our value proposition every quarter hour, in every newscast," the company said in a statement to its staff. "Therefore, we will be expanding our local investigative journalism footprint in our daily newscasts. We are excited to dedicate more time in our newscasts to report on critical and relevant issues.”

In other words, Sinclair is saying we have stories from James Rosen that we still make our affiliates run and they do a better job of looking like real news, but really are just Trump and GOP suck up stories as well.

Also, Rosen doesn’t sound like he is talking with a mouthful of bees like Epshteyn sounds.

Epshteyn’s cushy job at Sinclair ends this week.
