ToldJa!

Back in June, FTVLive FIRST told you in an EXCLUSIVE story that Nexstar would be making a deal with Fox that would end up with KCPQ (Seattle) moving into Fox den.

KCPQ was one of the Tribune stations that Nexstar picked up in the deal and FTVLive told you that after the deal closed, you could expect to see KCPQ sold off to Fox.

That all happened yesterday when Nexstar announced that they were buying Fox affiliate WJZY in Charlotte and that Fox is buying KCPQ in Seattle. Fox is also buying Fox affiliate WITI in Milwaukee.

“Acquiring stations in these high-performing NFC markets enhances our already strong nationwide footprint and further demonstrates Fox Television Stations’ commitment to serving our viewers, advertisers, and local communities,” said Jack Abernethy, CEO of Fox Television Stations.

FTVLive nails another one!

If you need us, we’ll be sitting over here trying to not look so smug.
