Yesterday around lunchtime, FTVLive posted the story how it appeared that ABC pulled an NBC and spiked another story about a powerful and rich sexual predator.

A video that was leaked out of ABC shows ABC Anchor Amy Robach speaking to someone off-camera and voicing her displeasure with her bosses.

Robach said that she had landed an interview with Virginia Roberts in regard to the Jeffery Epstein story. While Roberts implicated a lot of powerful people including former President Bill Clinton and others, the story never made air.

ABC and Robach quickly released statements trying to walk back what she said on an open mic. You can read the story and watch the video here.

What was interesting to me, as this story was trending on Twitter, CNN’s Senior Media Reporter Brian Stelter never seemed to send a single tweet about this big media story.

Then, when Stelter sent out his nightly newsletter, he brushed by the story with just links to other media outlets. A Google search of “jeffrey epstein amy robach CNN” does not come up with a single story from CNN.

Isn’t it odd that the network’s senior media Reporter all but outright ignored this big story about the media?

Stelter instead spent the day focusing on Trump and impeachment.
