This is Awesome!

Back in December of last year, FTVLive told you that Sinclair’s WTVC (Chattanooga) sacked Anchor Alex George as she was battling cancer.

George told viewers that she was headed back to Philly for treatment and to be near her family while she fought her cancer fight.

Well, it has been a long road, but it has a happy ending.

George won her battle against cancer and she has also landed a new job in a much bigger market than Chattanooga.

George will be a Reporter at the Fox O&O in her hometown of Philly.

Fox Philly Reporter Steve Keeley posted the great news on social media:

Awesome news for Alex and she showed great strength in her fight. As for Sinclair, this was one of the lowest things a media group has down and we are so happy Alex has kicked cancer’s ass and moved onto a much bigger market.
