It seems that Philly blowtorch WPVI has very quietly moved some anchors around at the station in the wake of longtime Anchor Monica Malpass’s exit back in May.

The station’s website doesn’t reflect these changes, but they started last week and appear to be the same this week.

The changes involve Noon, 4 pm and 5 pm and the 10 pm they produce for PHL17.

This is the way It did look:

Noon: Rick Williams and Sarah Bloomquist
4 pm: Brian Taff, Shari Williams; Alicia Viterelli features anchor
5 pm: Rick Williams, (Monica Malpass before she left in May)
10 pm PHL17: Brian Taff, Shari Williams

And this seems to be the lineup the station is going with now:

Noon: Sarah Bloomquist and Brian Taff
4 pm: Brian Taff and Jeanette Reyes; Sarah Bloomquist features anchor
5 pm: Rick Williams and Shari Williams; Alicia Viterelli features anchor
10 pm on PHL17: Rich Williams and Shari Williams

The ABC O&O might not yet be set on these changes, as they are still using generic opens for the newscasts.

But, this seems to be the lineup they are using for the November book.

Then again, WPVI could basically put color bars on the air and still win the time slot.
