With the November book in full swing, you can look for your local news anchors to tell you about their medical or psychological problems, or announce their retirements.

After all it is sweeps.

KIFI (Idaho Falls) Anchor Jay Hildebrandt is calling it quits on News 8 at 5, 6, & 10pm.

After 35 years, Hildebrandt will leave at the end of the month, which is also the end of the book.

The announcement came at the end of Friday's 10 PM Newscast. Karole Honas also showed some video clips of memorable moments they had as co-anchors over the past 29 years.

Hildebrandt joined the station in 1984.
