When You Call in Sick to the Entire Nexstar Nation

WDAF (KC) Traffic Anchor Nick Vasos decided to email the station to say he was going to be sick this morning. Of course, calling in sick during ratings is a big no-no and when you do it on Friday, giving yourself a 3 day weekend, it’s always suspect.

But, that aside, when Vasos decided to email the station he made a bit of a mistake. Instead of just emailing his station he sent it to every Nexstar station in the country, nearly 200 of them.

Well, you know that TV newsies are going to let that goof go unchecked and soon it was on:

Of course, there has to be that one guy that rains on the parade. Nexstar’s Director of IT Chris Haikalis shut it down and everyone had to go back to work.
