My guess is that WTXL (Tallahassee) wanted this to happen at the beginning of the November book.

But, better late than never.

The station took the wraps off a new news set.

The Scripps station says that the new set includes a large video wall to highlight key parts of stories for viewers, an open and inviting interview set highlighting iconic landmarks that make our community unique, and a new look and improved tools in the First Alert Weather Center.

“When our new owners took over WTXL at the start of 2019, we committed to improving our journalism in order to serve our community better," said Matt Brown, the Vice President and General Manager of WTXL ABC 27. "Today is a big step forward in that fulfilling that promise.“
