After 22 years at KTUL (Tulsa), it appears that Sinclair is pushing longtime General Manager Pat Baldwin to the curb. He will leave the station at the end of next month.

This is the internal memo that he sent out to the staff and was obtained by FTVLive.

Dear Friends

As we all know, good things come to an end. Sinclair and our group manager, John Seabers, have decided the station needs to go in a new direction and so I have agreed to resign my position as KTUL general manager at the end of December.

Guys, it’s been a great ride. 22+ years here and 34+ years with the company is a long time and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. You all are some of the best people I know and it’s been an honor to be your GM. I care about each of you more than you’ll ever know and I wish you nothing but the best. I’ll be praying for you and I hope you’ll do the same for Cindy and me during this transition.

So, until the end of December it’s business as usual. News is wrapping up sweeps and I’m so proud of their hard work. Sales is ramping up for annual presentations to clients and they already have some good stories to tell. On November 22nd all employees who participate in the Incentive Plan will receive an extra $100 on their paycheck. We have the Thanksgiving luncheon next week to look forward to and a fun holiday event for employees and their families in December that we’ll be telling you about soon.

Come see me if you need anything. My door is always open to you.

God Bless
