Is a Longtime Chicago Anchor Looking to Leave?

Say it ain’t so…

One of FTVLive’s favorites was asked about the Chicago School teacher’s strike and he dropped a bit of a bombshell.

A viewer asked WGN’s Paul Konrad about the strike and Konrad replied that he is thinking of leaving Chicago and the state of Illinois.

Does that mean he’s is also thinking about leaving WGN?

He does say.

He could commute to Chicago from either Wisconsin or Indiana, but that is a long way to go for a guy that needs to be at work in the middle of the night.

Let’s hope none of this is true and that Konrad stays put. He is one of the bright spots in Chicago media.
