Update: WTNH News Director Chuck Carter contacted FTVLive and he says that his station did not post the picture of the women in question in the story.

He writes to FTVLive, “We believe the woman in question inaccurately accused WTNH of publishing a digital story about her death. We are steadfast in our assertion that we published an accurate story and did not add a woman’s image or name. Primarily because police did not release that information. Furthermore, the woman in question deleted her Facebook post regarding this incident.”

He asked that we delete the story from FTVLive.

We are taking down our narrative, but leaving what the women posted for people to see her original post that has now been deleted.
