A rodent fell onto the lap of NBC News correspondent Peter Alexander at the White House.

The Washington Post says that the rodent as crews tried the catch the animal, it sneaked under the door into the main hall of the press area before it eventually ran into the briefing room, where reporters lost track of it.

The good news, at least the White House briefing room has some activity.
