Fired Weatherman Kind of Sort of Says He's Sorry

WHEC Weatherman Jeremy Kappell who spent the day after his firing pointing fingers and saying “he said it too” has now kind of sort of said he’s sorry for his remarks.

Kappell was fired from the Rochester station after saying the words, “Martin Luther coon King” while talking over some video during his weathercast.

Kappell sitting next to his wife posted the video and said that he misspoke and then went on to blame his station for not standing behind him.

“I’m extremely disappointed by the decisions by my television station,” he says.

He said he was sorry, but including all kinds of disclaimers in his apology and said that he never said the word “coon.”
