Drink Up! Case Dismissed Against Bar Fight Anchor

FTVLive FIRST told you that the assault case against former WSAZ Weather Anchor Chelsea Ambriz was dismissed yesterday.

Ambriz was in court yesterday to face charges of assault against her former co-anchor Erica Bivens. As FTVLive FIRST told you Bivens did not show up at the court proceeding and the case was dismissed.

Bivens was miles away in Kentucky anchoring one of her first newscasts on WTVQ in Lexington and did not show up for the trial.

After the case was tossed, Ambriz posted this to social media:

FTVLive FIRST reported that the case against Ambriz would likely be dismissed.

After her case was dismissed, Ambriz says that “justice was served.”
