Update: I screwed up this story when I first posted it.

It appears that Nexstar is selling WOI-TV and going to keep WHO-TV

Sources tell FTVLIve that Nexstar has decided to keep WHO-TV and sell spin off WOI.

Word is that Nexstar has found buyers for all the stations that need to be spun off.

No word on who is buying WOI, but Meredith seems like it would be a good fit.

Meredith Corporation’s headquarters are located at 1716 Locust St, Des Moines, IA but the company does not own a station in the market.

It would seem like WOI would be a good fit.
