The News Must Go On
/Quick thinking on the part of Sinclair’s WGME in Portland, Maine.
The WGME studios in flooded as a results of heavy rains and a backed-up storm drain.
It all happened just 45 min before out 5 p.m. newscast.
Station employees, both in front and behind the camera were able to set up a makeshift studio in the newsroom without skipping a beat.
