Fired in Seattle

This week started out with WHEC firing their Weatherman for uttering a racial slur, the week ends with KCPQ in Seattle firing an Editor for manipulating a video of President Trump.

The Tribune station fired the Editor after the station aired a doctored video of President Trump’s Tuesday night speech from the Oval Office.

The video was manipulated to make Trump look more orange and was edited show my making strange tongue movements.

“This does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the president in a negative light,” Q13 news director Erica Hill said in a statement early Thursday.

Later on Thursday, Hill released another statement saying, “We’ve completed our investigation into this incident and determined that the actions were the result of an individual editor whose employment has been terminated.”

By the way, as far as we know, KCPQ Morning Meteorologist Katie Boer who was arrested for assaulting her co-workers has not been fired.
