The Rochester paper the Democrat and Chronicle seems to have taken sides in the WHEC firing of Jeremy Kappell and they seem to be siding with the fired Anchor.

This was the front page of the paper, pointing out that ESPN’s Mike Greenberg made the same slur that Kappell did and kept his job.

Greenberg works at a cable news sports network and not a local TV station. If you want to compare apples to apples, FTVLive has already told you that back in 2005, Las Vegas Weather Anchor Rob Blair of KTNV (Las Vegas) was delivering the extended forecast when he said: "For tomorrow, 60 degrees, Martin Luther Coon King Jr. Day, gonna see some temperatures in the mid-60s."

Blair was let go from the station for saying the same thing that Kappell said.

For some reason, the Democrat and Chronicle did not put that on their front page.
