See You On the Radio

After a dozen years anchoring the news at WCCO in the Twin Cities, Angela Davis is leaving the station.

But she's not leaving the air.

Davis says that she has landed a job at Minnesota Public Radio News to host its 11 a.m. program in early November.

In a news release issued by MPR, Davis says she'll be hosting a talk show "that explores the issues that keep many of us awake at night, as well as topics that bring joy, laughter and hope."

Davis has been with WCCO since 2006, working as a reporter and later a news anchor with the Twin Cities' CBS affiliate.

"She understands this state, knows its most pressing issues, and will be a great fit in engaging with audiences on these important topics," said Nancy Cassutt of MPR.
