Life After News
/Former KSNF (Joplin) morning Anchor Jasmine Bailey has found a job with better hours and outside of TV news.
Bailey is now working at the cop shop in Springfield, MO.
Bailey has been hired on as the Springfield police department's new public affairs officer.
"Everyone’s been very welcoming," she said. "I love Springfield.”
Bailey said she looks forward to continuing the "fast-paced lifestyle" that she enjoyed working at the news station in Joplin.
She said she was also drawn to the job because of the values of Police Chief Paul Williams and his police officers.
"They're the type of people I want to work with," Bailey said.
Her new job will pay her $52,332.80, which is likely a lot more than she got doing the morning news in Joplin.
