Knocked Out in Knoxville?

Sources tell FTVLive that WATE News Director Jamie Foster has parted ways with the Nexstar station.

There are a number of rumors as to why Foster is no longer working there, so FTVLive tried to call the station to get answers.

We started in the newsroom and were quickly told that we needed to be transferred to the HR department.

A guy name Tim (There is a business manager at the station named Tim Cooley, but not sure if this the same Timmy) answered the phone and when we asked him if Foster was still working there? He said that he has no comment.

We tried to explain to him that if the Mayor left his job, the TV station would be asking questions and asked if he thought it was odd that he would not even answer the question if Foster still worked there or not.

“Mr. Johnson, I know who you are,” Tim said, despite the fact that I’m not Mr. Johnson. He then was very rude and to be completely honest, a total asshole.

Tim did not answer our question if Foster still works at the station or not, but we’re going to make an educated guess and say he does not.

FTVLive talks to hundreds of TV stations each day and find that none of them are as bad to deal with as Nexstar.

If this company would just try being a little (just a little) more transparent and not be so defensive, they might find out that people that are just doing their job, might actually work with them.
